Located in southwest Arkansas amidst the natural beauty of Arkansas’s southernmost mountain range, DeGray Lake is one of Arkansas’s renowned “Diamond Lakes” known for their clear water. This is where you will find Arkansas’s best fishing for hybrid striped bass, and great angling for bass, crappie, bream and catfish. This is a water sports paradise, too, where you can enjoy water-skiing, sailing and pleasure boating. And, the lake’s clean clear water is ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling. The park’s full-service marina offers a wide variety of boat rentals including fishing boats and motors, party barges, fishing barges, personal watercraft, canoes, kayaks and water bikes.
DeGray Lake Resort State Park offers 113 campsites with water and electric hookups. Some sites are situated on the lakeshore. Others are nestled in shaded woodlands. Special barrier-free sites are also available. A park Rent-A-Yurt can be reserved that sleeps up to six persons and is equipped with electrical outlets, a lantern (with fuel), ice chest, bunk beds, a double burner stove (with fuel), folding table with chairs, broom, mop and dust pan. The suggested items to bring with you are cooking and eating utensils, matches and bed linens. Additional items provided with the yurt rental are a fire ring and pedestal grill, picnic table, electricity and water.
