Enjoy a day on the lake at General Butler. Rental pedal boats, canoes and rowboats are available seasonally at the Boat Dock. Fish have been restocked in 30-acre Butler Lake–bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. Fishing is permitted from the lake shore and from personal non-motorized boats year-round. A Kentucky Fishing License is required. To stretch your legs after dinner, take advantage of two nature trails; a 1/4 mile trail between the lodge and the camping area, and a 1/2 mile loop trail in the campground. Mountain biking is available on our Fossil Trail. It’s a 4.5 mile loop trail and is open from April – November.
