Visitors experience unmatched sailing, swimming, skiing, and fishing for Smallmouth bass in the sparkling waters of Pickwick Lake, and enjoy camping and exploring in the untamed wilderness along the banks of the Tennessee River.

The 69 sites available for RV camping feature picnic tables, grills, electrical, water and sewage hookups. Two bathhouses with restrooms along with hot showers are avaible for campers use. All sites are available for advance reservations and can be reserved up to 24 months in advance. J.P. Coleman offers 17 tent camping sites overlooking Indian Creek. No grill, table or water is located on site. A bathhouse is within walking distance located in the developed campground for campers use.

The park features a 15 x 60 foot swimming pool and a kiddy pool. A fee is charged. Pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day 10:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M. The pool is closed Monday and Tuesday of each week, unless a holiday falls on one of these days.

Pickwick Lake offers 47,500 acres of fresh water for fishing and water sports. The lake is brimming with crappie, bream, catfish, sauger, walleye, and most species of bass. A Mississippi fishing license is required for all persons between the ages of 16 and 65. Water skiing is permitted, and a boat launching ramp is available.
