**PARK CLOSURE** Due to New York State’s fiscal crisis this facility will not be open for camping for the 2010 Season. May we suggest as an alternative camping destination nearby: Kring Point State Park, Higley Flow State Park or Jacques Cartier State Park. We regret any inconvenience this closure may cause.

Whether it’s a weekend or a week, your perfect getaway will be a memorable one at this state park, with 34 campsites. This small, secluded park is best known for the excellent bass fishing and ideal for canoes or rowboats.

Eel Weir State Park is located on the Oswegatchie River two miles from Black Lake. Both waterways are known for excellent bass fishing and are ideal for canoes or rowboats. As it is small and secluded, the park is a perfect place to get away from it all. Campsites are available, as are a picnic area and pavilion.

Pets:
Must have proof of current rabies vaccination – certificate inoculation or dated collar tag. Household pets only, caged or on a leash, not more than 6 feet. Not permitted in picnic areas.
