Tims Ford State Park, located on the Tims Ford Reservoir in the rolling hills of southern middle Tennessee, is an outstanding recreational area and fishing paradise.

Tims Ford State Park offers a 52 site campground, with water and electric (30 amp service) at each site, and a dumping station available at the entrance to the campground. The camp sites can accommodate RV’s up to 35 feet in length, and are able to accommodate both RV’s and Tents. The camp sites are limited to 6 people per site, and one(1) RV and one (1) Tent, or Two Large Tents per site. Two of the camp sites are ADA sites, and are set aside for that reason. The camp sites are available year around on a first come first served basis. The campground has two bathhouses, central located that provide hot showers, lavatories and commodes. The campground is located on a point overlooking Tims Ford Lake, with access to the lake. The campground has a playground located with in the campground, and several other playground located though out the park.

The park has almost 5 miles of paved trails that allow the hiker and cyclist to explore the natural surroundings of Tims Ford Lake.

Year round fishing at Tims Ford provides a substantial yield of bluegill, small and largemouth bass, catfish and crappie.
