About: Wishon Reservoir and Courtright Reservoir are two popular trout fishing waters in California’s Western Sierra. Family owned and operated since 1960, Wishon Village RV Park is conveniently located at an elevation of 6,600 feet above sea level. It is just a mile from Wishon and seven miles from Courtright.
This quaint summer resort features an RV Park with spacious sites, two nicely appointed RV Rentals, a Tent Camping park, an old fashioned General Store, Gift Shop, Boat Rentals, great trout fishing and a real friendly staff. Review the Wishon Village Resort Map. Please look us over, then make plans to come up and have a memorable vacation. Open the last weekend in April through the end of October.
Directions: Hwy 99 heading south toward Madera (before Fresno), take Exit 155, Cleveland Ave in Madera. Turn L on Cleveland. Cleveland then bears left, across railroad tracks then turns immediately to the right. Continue to follow Cleveland about 2 miles to Hwy 145. Turn Left on Hwy 145 and continue for about 17 miles to a “Y” at Road 206. Turn right and continue 2 miles to “T” in Friant. Turn L at “T” and continue for about 6 miles to another “T” with a Valero gas station on Left. Turn Left and continue on Auberry road for 9 miles to another “T” in the town of Prather. Turn L and continue 3 miles to stop sign. Turn L and continue up toward Shaver Lake for 15 miles. Coming in to Shaver, turn R on Dinkey Creek Road and continue for 15 miles. Turn R on McKinley Grove Rd toward Wishon and continue for 15 more miles. The store at Wishon Village is next to the road on the right hand side.

Turn right on Friant Rd and continue about 25 minutes thru Friant, past Table Mountain casino and to a stop sign “T” junction with Auberry Road, a Valero gas station is on the left. Turn Left and continue on Auberry road for 9 miles to another “T” in the town of Prather. Turn L and continue 3 miles to stop sign. Turn L and continue up toward Shaver Lake for 15 miles. Coming in to Shaver, turn R on Dinkey Creek Road and continue for 15 miles. Turn R on McKinley Grove Rd toward Wishon and continue for 15 more miles. The store at Wishon Village is next to the road on the right hand side.
