About: The front loop in the campground will be open in 2011. There will be 17 sites available, nine (9) will be reservable. Campsite improvements will begin on the back loops in 2011. This campground is on the southeast shore of Hog Park Reservoir. The campground provides an ideal setting for watersports as well as options for hiking in three wilderness areas including the Continental Divide National ScenicTrail. Facilities include picnic tables, vault toilets, drinking water, fire grates and refuse receptacles. There is a 14 day stay limit within the campground. There are numerous day hiking and backpacking opportunities in the Huston Park Wilderness Area, Encampment River Wilderness Area and Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area. Fishing, boating and water skiing are available on Hog Park Reservoir. Lakeview Picnic Area and Hog Park Picnic Area are both nearby.

Directions: From Encampment,take WY 70 west 5.8 miles to Hog Park Reservoir sign, Forest Route 550. Turn left and go 16.2 miles to FR 496. Continue straight through intersection onto FR 496 and go 1.5 mile to FR 4961E. Turn right and go 0.7 miles to a camping sign. Turn right, cross the dam, and go 0.1 to campground.
