There is an assortment of recreational opportunities at Stuart Lake including fishing, swimming, hiking, picnicking, and much more. Stuart Lake is a peaceful lake in an attractive wooded setting.

Directions: From Alexandria, take U.S. Highway 167 north for 14 miles. Turn right (east) on Louisiana Hwy 8 and go 4 miles. Turn right (south) on Forest Road 144 and go 1 mile. The entrance is on the right and a fee station is just inside the campground.
