Green River Lake State Park opened in 1969 contains 1,331 acres along with the 8,200-acre lake. The park has many attractions for those who love nature and wish to experience the beauty that is Kentucky.
Fresh air and good times couldnt be better than in this 157-site campground. A grocery, a dump station, and three central service buildings with showers, rest rooms, and a laundry facility are available. Camping available March 1 to November 30; however, there are limited services in March.
For “reel” excitement enjoy a day of fishing at Green River Lake. Both the avid angler and the beginning fisherman will enjoy the challenge of fishing for white, largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky bass, bluegill, crappie, and muskie. Boating and water sports enthusiasts will love Green River Lake. The marina offers everything you will need to enjoy the day: 200 covered slips, rental houseboats, fishing boats, ski boats, jet skis, and pontoon boats. Enjoy sand between your toes and the gentle waves of Green River Lake at the campground beach. The parks offers 28-miles of multi-use trails for hiking and mountain biking.
