About: Fairview Campground is located on the Upper Kern River 13 miles north of the town of Kernville. This mountain setting campground with oak trees and desert shrubbery stretches along the Kern River. The campground consists of 52 paved sites with some water sites along the Kern River. Swimming, rafting, hiking, fishing are some of the activities to have a fun filled time. Located next to the campground are McNallys Hamburger Stand and McNallys Restraunt.

Directions: Off of Highway 99 in Bakersfield, take Highway 178 East, to Lake Isabella From Lake Isabella take Highway 155 around the west side of the lake to the town of Kernville. From Kernville go north on Sierra Way (Mountain 99) 16 miles to the campground.
