About: East Meadow Campground is located on the northeast shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir. It is surrounded by pine and fir trees. Jackson Meadow Reservoir is a gorgeous high elevation lake with good fishing. Part of the Pacific Crest Trail cross on the east side of the reservoir. Snow pack determines when the campground opens.

Directions:
From Bowman Lake: Continue on Bowman Lake Road until you reach the south shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir (about 5 miles on a rough road). Continue on to North Shore on Forest Road 7.

From Truckee: Drive 17 miles north on Hwy 89. Turn left at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is on the north east shore of the reservoir.

From Sierraville: Drive 11 miles south on Hwy 89. Turn right at Little Truckee Summit on Forest Road 7. Continue 16 miles west to Jackson Meadow Reservoir. Campground is on the north east shore of the reservoir.
