Directions
From Denver via I-25 to State Hwy 115 to US Hwy 50
Take I-25 south to Colorado Springs. Continue around Colorado Springs on I-25 to the SOUTH end of Colorado Springs and take the Academy Blvd exit #135 and go west. Go approximately 2 miles west to Hwy 115 and turn left/south. Continue south on Hwy 115 to Penrose where Hwy 115 intersects with US Hwy 50 and go west on Hwy 50 to Canon City. Go through Canon City and proceed approximately 8 miles to the turn off to the Royal Gorge. There is a cement divider with a left turn lane in the middle of Hwy 50. Turn left/south on CR 3A and go ¼ mile. There is a large KOA sign on the right. Turn right/west at the Cafe in proceed to the KOA Kampground office.
From Pueblo via I-25 and US Hwy 50
Go west on US Hwy 50 to Canon City. Go through Canon City and proceed approximately 8 miles go the turn off to the Royal Gorge. There is a cement divider with a left turn lane in the middle of Hwy 50. Turn left/south on CR 3A and go ¼ mile. There is a large KOA sign on the right. Turn right/west and go past the Café and proceed to the KOA Kampground office.
From Salida, CO
Go east on US Hwy 50 approximately 50 miles following the Arkansas River. As you get out of the valley you will see direction sign that says ROYAL GORGE SOUTH RIM, RIGHT ½ MILE, NO BUSES OR RVS. Do not TURN. Continue east on Hwy 50 up the hill and at the top go approximately 1 mile to the main road to the Royal Gorge. It is well signed and you will turn south/right onto CR 3A. The KOA is ¼ mile south on CR 3A. There is a large KOA sign on the right. Turn right/west and go past the Café and proceed to the Kampground office.
