Lost Burro Campground provides a unique camping experience. The campground is nestled among Colorado’s finest ponderosa pines and aspen trees, resting peacefully in a grassy meadow with a cold creek running right through the middle of the campground.

Facilities
Lost Burro Campground offers up to 48 tent sites, 28 electric sites and 6 full hookup sites (30 and 50 AMP), hidden among the pines on 31 acres in a secluded valley, with pull-throughs up to 100 feet in length.

Each campsite is provided with a picnic table and fire ring for your convenience. A
stream running through the valley provides a relaxing environment and gives
you the opportunity to pan for gold.

There are several hiking trails startingin the campground and lots of open space for a leisurely stroll.

Amenities
The campground does provide a fully equipped showerhouse. Heated showers are available year round with clean fresh water pumped daily from a nearby spring.

Several water stations are located throughout the campground and a dump station is centrally located by the office for your convenience.

The office is stocked with ice, firewood, camping supplies, snacks, soda and a delicious array of flavored ice cream.

Head west on E Bennett Ave toward 1st St
Take the 1st right onto 1st St
Take the 1st left onto W Carr Ave
Continue onto Co Rd 1/Teller County Rd 1
Turn left onto Co Rd 1/Lost Burro Dr
Destination will be on the right
