Fort Collins Lakeside KOA is the perfect destination for a Colorado vacation. They offer large, modern sites with full hookups, 30- and 50-amp service, cable television, and wireless internet. Premium sites put you next to the lake where you can step right out of your RV to do a bit of fishing or go for a stroll along our lakeside path. Their new spa sites provide a mountain view that you can enjoy while relaxing in the hot water. Conference rooms and a pavilion are available for family reunions and group events.
There is a passel of fun things to do at Fort Collins Lakeside KOA. Take a look at our Recreation Center for information on miniature golf, bumper boats, the jumping pillow, and our video arcade. You can also rent a paddle boat to enjoy some time on our nine-acre lake, or simply take advantage of everything that is free for all registered guests: a swimming pool, horseshoes, bolo shoes, a basketball hoop, volleyball, catch-and-release fishing, fitness trail, and a TV room with exercise equipment.
All the charm of traditional tent camping right on a beautiful lake, but you also get access to clean bathrooms and showers, as well as the safety and peace of mind that come with staying at a private campground. Enjoy our refreshing pool, a store full of handy camping supplies, and a variety of fun activities for campers of all ages.
Each site comes equipped with a picnic table, a barbecue grill, and a level sand pad (measuring 12′ x 16′) on which you can pitch your tent.
Directions
From Interstate 25
Take exit 269 B and head west on Colorado Highway 14 into Fort Collins. Follow the signs to U.S. Highway 287 north (about ten minutes). Now get into the very first left-hand turning lane that you come to, which is about 1/2 mile down Taft Hill Road (CR 19). Turn left onto Lakeside Resort Lane and follow the concrete driveway straight through the gate.
From Laramie
Take U.S. Highway 287 south approximately 55 miles. You will pass the Fort Collins Poudre Canyon KOA on your left at this point, and you will also see a Conoco station on your right. Continue south on U.S. Highway 287 for another three miles. At the first stop light that you come to, take a right-hand turn onto CR 54G. Now turn left at the very next stoplight, Taft Hill Road (CR 19). Get into the first left-hand turning lane that you come to, which is about 1/2 mile down Taft Hill Road (CR 19).
