About: Punta Gorda RV Resort offers guests a peaceful retreat on the banks of Alligator Creek. This navigable waterway provides a route to historic Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. Here we are removed from the bustle of city life, yet close to those resources that make life enjoyable.
Open year round, our resort has accommodations and amenities at reasonable rates with a friendly, down-home atmosphere. About 25 residents stay with us all year. We strive to create a feeling of community, however long you choose to visit. Read on for a description of RV sites, activities, boating facilities, and convenience shops.
Punta Gordas ten acre resort has 223 sites, many with canal access. Docks are available for your boating pleasure. Sailors come from all over to enjoy Charlotte Harbors protected waters and sandy shores, basking in the sun on Floridas beautiful west coast.
Our streets are paved for your walking and bicycling pleasure, and all electrical cables are buried to enhance the beautiful views and breath-taking sunsets of the area.
Among our many organized activities, we offer game nights, line dancing, bingo, block parties, exercise club, potlucks, golf tournaments and crafts, to mention just a few. During the busy season, there are parties almost every night.
