About: Sleepy Hollow Campground rests on 90 acres of wooded and pasture land mixed and surrounded by national forest. This campground is just a tad over ten minutes from the main shopping area of Helen Ga., so youre not far from major attractions, and the Unicoi Lodge which serves up a big breakfast buffet every morning is on the way towards Helen, Ga.
There is definitely an abundance of wildlife out here, ranging from deer, lots of wild turkey, and yes the occasional bear. But if you would rather have the feeling that you have escaped the commercialism of city life off into the deep woods, this is it.
Directions: From jct Hwy 75 and Hwy 17 (east of town): Go 2 mi E on Hwy 17, then 2 1/2 mi N on Hwy 255, then 2 1/2 mi N on Skylake Rd. Entrance on right.
