This state forest campground is nestled under a healthy stand of red pines on the lake’s western shore. All the sites are laid out along a long, narrow loop that extends toward the peninsula’s point. Sites are spread apart nicely to allow for privacy, and even those away from the lake are an easy walk across the loop to the swimming beach.
