Grand oaks and delicate prairie flowers grace the rugged, rolling landscape of this park. Trails traverse remnant and restored prairies, wind down deep ravines and rise up to the grassy ridgetops and bluffs overlooking the scenic St. Croix River. The trails are perfect for hikers, horseback riders and cross-country skiers. The park offers visitors a swimming beach, backpack campsites and a visitor center with interpretive displays.

Located about 1 mile from parking area. Available year-round. Wood and water are available in the campground.
Canoe Sites

Must have own canoe or kayak.
Group Camp
2 Sites – Each accommodates up to 40 people.
Sites are located in a secluded camping area and share a water spigot for drinking water. Vault toilets available.
Site 1 – Semi-wooded area with smaller areas for camping. Can be accessed by vehicle and will accommodate tents and small trails.
Site 2 – Large, open area for camping only. No vehicle access, carry-in distance is 30′ from parking.
Camper Cabins
Four camper cabins with heat & electric, available year round. No pets. Big Bluestem and Bur Oak each sleep 6; Bluebird and White Pine are accessible and each sleep 5. More information on camper cabins.
