About: Nestled in the shade of towering hardwood trees, Lake Lincoln State Park is the quintessence of serenity. Located in the northeast corner of Lincoln County, the park’s close proximity to Interstate 55, U.S. Highway 51and State Highway 27 provides easy access for visitors.

71 sites are available for RV camping featuring concrete pads, concrete picnic tables, grills, electrical hook-ups and a sewage dumping station. Twenty-two campsites are located lake-side. Two bathhouses with hot showers, central air and heat and a laundry facility is available for your convenience. All campsites are available for advance reservations. The 14 sites available for primitive campers feature lake-side camping with picnic tables, grills, lamp post and an extra bonus of water.

Swimmers have a designated area in the clear, clean water of Lake Lincoln. From the 1.5-acre sand beach where sunbathers can “catch some rays” swimmers can gradually descend into the lake and enjoy swimming in an area free of fishermen and boaters. The swimming area is open all day until 6 pm.

A leisurely hike through the natural setting of loblolly, short-leaf pine, southern magnolias and dogwoods puts you back in touch with the wonders of nature. Special care has been taken to preserve the dense cover of undisturbed vegetation which not only enhances the beauty of the entire recreation area, but also aides in preventing soil erosion. The series of ridges throughout the terrain are utilized as natural buffers to separate facilities with the park.

Lake Lincoln, a 550-acre water wonderland, offers visitors fishing, boating, swimming, and skiing. Fishing is a year-round activity at Lake Lincoln offering both the casual and serious angler lots of challenge. A public boat ramp with a floating dock makes launching easy for all types of pleasure watercraft. Three fishing piers extend into the lake with plenty of room for anglers to try their luck. Bass, bream, channel catfish, and white perch are abundant.
