Days are quiet here in the Campground as many of our guests drive into Yellowstone to take in the sights of Old Faithful, Quake Lake or Gold Rush Ghost Towns. Popular here are excursions for Whitewater Rafting, Fly Fishing and horseback riding. But most of all this area is home to Yellowstone. From the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in West Yellowstone coming from the east: When exiting Yellowstone go one block on Yellowstone Avenue and turn right on Canyon Street (the 4-way stop) and go two blocks to Firehole Avenue (the 2nd stoplight) and take a left. Firehole Avenue is also US Highway 20. Go west 6 miles on US Highway 20. Yellowstone Park KOA will be on the right.
From US191/287 entering West Yellowstone traveling from the north: Turn right at the 1st stoplight youll come to which is Firehole Avenue onto US Highway 20 and go west 6 miles to KOA on the right.
From Idaho traveling from the south and west via US Highway 20: As you cross the Continental Divide and the Montana/Idaho state line at the top of Targhee Pass you will go 3 miles to find KOA on the left.
