Nearby, Scotland Neck hosts the world’s largest collection of waterfowl at Sylvan Heights Waterfowl Park and Eco-Center, open year-round. Spend a day in Raleigh or at the beach. Tour Historic Halifax and go antiquing. Just 4 miles away is Hickory Meadows, an 18-hole public golf course-no tee times! This is a quiet country campground with no trains.
