About: Located along 1600 ft of the North Toe River, Buck Hill Campground is the perfect place for families to relax and play! We offer sixty large shady RV sites, each equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and full hookups with 20, 30, and 50 amp service. The campground features 144 acres of hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Enjoy a lazy ride down the river on your inner tube or spend the day fishing from our trout filled waters stocked by the State Hatchery. Primitive tent campers will enjoy our open grassy fields overlooking our pond. If you are looking for a quiet family & pet friendly campground, you’ve just found your new home away from home!

Directions:
From Charlotte, NC: Head south on Interstate 85 to Gastonia; take Highway 321 north to Hickory, then I-40 west to exit 87 (near Marion). At Marion take 221 north and about two miles past Linville Falls turnoff, turn left on NC Highway 194 at the Marathon Gas Station. 194 will end at Hwy 19E. Turn right and Buck Hill Campground will be 3 miles on the right.

From Asheville, NC: 240 West: US 19 North/US 23 North: US 19E.
