Get your kicks on Route 66 where the Mother Road runs right past this campground. Stretches of this fabled road run between Clinton and Elk City, featuring two Route 66 Museums. Clinton’s Route 66 Museum has the world’s largest curio cabinet, filled with souvenirs. At the National Route 66 Museum in Elk City, take a walking tour through all eight states where “America’s Main Street” once ran. Back at this beautiful, peaceful KOA, park your RV on one of the many long, level, paved and shady RV sites. Or pitch a tent on a grassy site. Take a short walk to Clinton Lake, known for crappie and sand bass fishing, or a short drive to Foss Lake, also known for its bass fishing. Relax at the pool, enjoy the playground and let your pet romp in the fenced pet area. Enjoy breakfast or dinner in the dining room or take it back to your RV. Be sure to save room for homemade pie.
