Crane Prairie campsites are right on the water or within a minute or two walk. The roads going through the campground are paved as are many of the site spurs. There are plenty of modern vault toilets and a pressurized water system. There is a fish cleaning station and boat launch. If you need a shower there is a public shower area at the resort next door along with a small grocery store that will help provide you with your emergency marshmallows. The sites are fairly isolated from one another and large enough to easily fit the whole family. Although we do have group and single reservable sites, reservations for single sites mostly will not be needed except on major holidays, because there are so many sites.
