Carl G Washburne State Park is one of the smaller state parks by number of campsites but it’s spacious layout allows campers more privacy than other state parks in the area. The park is located on the east side of the highway in a relatively flat, forested area. A trail leads across the highway to a nice stretch of beach.
Campers will enjoy many local attractions, including the Heceta Head Lighthouse just two miles south on Highway 101.
Camp amenities include two yurts, dump station, flush toilets, showers, and hiking trails.
