Lagoon Campground is located approximately 7 miles south of Florence. Surrounding the campground is Lagoon trail which is 1 mile in length. This wheel chair accessible trail meanders across wooden boardwalks and paths alongside the Siltcoos River Lagoon and offers close-up viewing of plants and wildlife including beavers, nutrias, ducks, herons, and bitterns.
Many sites in Lagoon Campground are private with beautiful coastal shrubbery surrounding them. Camping is available here year round. There are both reservable and first come first serve sites. Reservations are taken from May 1 through September 30 in sites 5 through 28. You must bring your confirmation letter to the campground. Do not leave home without it. Display letter on vehicle dashboard.
