Eel Creek Campground is located in the Oregon Dunes 10 miles south of Reedsport on Highway 101. Many sites are secluded and private with beautiful coastal shrubbery. Sites 7/8, 42 and 43 are actually on a sand dune. The John Dellenback trail goes through the south loop of the campground and is a very easy hike to the biggest dunes in the area. If you are able to climb to the top of the highest dune you have a clear view of the ocean 2 ½ miles away. The beautiful dunes that sit behind the campground are protected from ATV/OHV so you can enjoy the serenity and peacefulness the dunes have to offer.
