Visit Cowpens National Battlefield, site of the pivotal battle of the American Revolution, as well as King’s Mountain Military Park. If you like to eat (now there’s a statement), there are many vendors for peaches, jellies, jams, ciders, and other goodies. (Spartanburg County had over 3 million peach trees and today is the second largest peach-producing area. A quarter of all the peaches in the United States are produced here.)

About an hour from this KOA you can visit the famous Asheville Farmers Market and The Biltmore. The quaint town of Saluda is about 35 minutes away. In about ten minutes you can be walking the lovely main street of Cowpens eating ice cream and buying inexpensive antiques and collectibles – or just hang out at the campground. We offer a pool, wi-fi, game room, mini-golf, trails, and importantly, peace and quiet.
