About: Piney Point Park is located off US Hwy 59, just south of the Wright Patman Dam. Open from March 1st through November 30th, Piney Point Park offers a complete range of services to the camper. The park is located on a 30,000 surface acre man-made lake, within the piney woods of northeast Texas.
Texarkana has a variety of activities to do which include shopping, movies, restaurants, and local historical sites. Shreveport, LA has river boat gambling, horse races, and numerous festivals. During the winter many birds migrate to the lake. Some of these include Bald Eagles, Pelicans, various ducks and others. There are some poisonous snakes in the area. Park facilities are located in a southern pine forest overlooking the lake.

Directions: From Texarkana: Take Hwy 59 S to Wright Patman Lake.
