Oleander Acres is only 67 miles from Brownsville TX and South Padre Island. Brownsville has a different microclimate than Mission, TX. Brownsville is hotter and more humid than Mission, since it rains more in Brownsville. Mission is perfectly situated for a day-trip to S. Padre Island for fishing or swimming, but we think it has a more inviting winter climate. We get a cool Gulf Coast breeze every evening that makes it perfect to walk around the park and meet your friends.
