About: Potter’s Creek Park is open all year welcoming guests from around the world. The Park is located on the northern shore of Canyon Lake, set back amongst the beautiful rolling hill country of South Central Texas. Cool breezes off the lake create a pleasant refreshing environment for relaxing in the shade of the native Oak or while sunbathing on the beach.

Grassy fields, native hill country plants and wild flowers offer wonderful opportunities for photographers of any age to capture the perfect delicate blooms nature has to offer. Canyon Lake and Guadalupe River are stocked with many varieties of fish from bass to catfish and even trout.

The pristine shores, deep waters and river access provide a location to drop a line in the water for the fisherman of any skill level. All sites with in the park have the following basic amenities: water and electric hookups, a covered picnic table, a stand up grill with closable lid and a fire ring with grill for making s’mores or getting that perfect sear on a side of Texas beef.

Park Rangers patrol the park while Gate Attendants and Camp Hosts are on site year round. Feel free to ask we are always listening.
