About: Yegua Creek Park, operated by the Corps of Engineers, is on the south side of Lake Somerville, which was formed by damming Yegua Creek. It is a medium sized park and very nice with 82 campsites and two boatramps. This video is campsites 1 through 13, on the far west side of the park, the closest ones to the west boatramp.

Directions: From Austin,TX take US 290 east to Brenham. Follow 36 north 11.5 miles to FM 1948. Turn left and follow FM 1948 2.5 miles. Turn right into park complex, following campground signs. From Houston, TX take HWY 290 west to Brenham. Follow 36 north 11.5 miles to FM 1948. Turn left and follow FM 1948 2.5 miles. Turn right into park complex, following campground signs.
