About: Over twenty years ago, God blessed us with the stewardship of this place we now call Shady Oaks, a vacation and retirement RV Park located in the Highland Lakes area of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. For this blessing, our desire is to honor Him and His will for this park and our lives. Our goal has been to make Shady Oaks a place where one can experience a little piece of heaven in this sometimes hectic world. The main focus at Shady Oaks is on fishing and the enjoyment of wildlife, nature, peace, and quiet. For the angler, Shady Oaks is a fisherman’s dream – catfish, crappie, white, black, & striper bass provide unique fishing experiences for all ages.
