About: Te-Ah Campground is located 28 miles east of Cedar City, Utah, on the edge of a high mountain meadow in an Aspen forest about 1/4 mile from Navajo Lake at an elevation 9,200 feet. Excellent hiking, biking, fishing, and canoeing opportunities abound at Te-ah. The 34-mile Virgin River Rim Trail, open to hiking, biking and horses, provides beautiful views of the Virgin River basin and Zion National Park; Cascade Falls trailhead is located at Te-ah and is a beautiful trail with abundant wildlife and vegetation. Canoeing/kayaking is popular on the small, quiet lake. Attractions nearby include Cedar Breaks National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park. Boat rentals, launching, lodging, and groceries are available at the Navajo Lake Lodge. Duck Lake is five miles east and has good fishing and canoeing, as well as a visitor’s center. The Duck Creek/Markagunt ATV Trail System begins nearby and offers a massive network of ATV/OHV trails for all riding levels.
A very well maintained gravel road skirts the shoreline of Navajo Lake and leads to Te-ah on the lake’s western edge, with good access for cars, trailers, and bikes. Most of Te-ah’s campsites have a small amount of shade. Flush and vault toilets are available, as well as potable water piped from a developed spring. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, and firewood bundles can be purchased from the camp host. Central garbage bins and an RV dump station are adjacent to the campground. Maximum RV length is 24 feet.
Campground has 41 single units, and 1 group unit (site #33) designated for bicycle tour groups. Site #33 is reserved for traveling bicycle tour groups, because they need it for just 1 or two days. It does NOT require a 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends. It can hold a maximum of 20 people, but best fits 15. Parking can hold 4 conventional sized vehicles without trailers, or 2 vehicles with trailers. Site fee is $30.00 a night. The site provides amenities tailored to bicycle tour groups. It has a workspace next to the parking lot for self-contained kitchens, 3 picnic tables, a bicycle wash rack, and a bicycle parking rack.

Restrictions The entire Navajo Lake basin is closed to any and all ATV use. ATV’s may be hauled into and out of the campgrounds on a trailer but not unloaded or ridden anywhere within the Navajo Lake basin.

Directions: 25 miles east of Cedar City on Highway U-14, then approximately 4.5 miles on the Navajo Lake Road. All roads leading to this campground are paved.
