Before the turn of the century, West Virginians were drawn to the natural beauty of the Middle Fork River and its surroundings. This area is now Audra State Park, a heavily wooded riverside campground that continues to awe visitors.
The campground consists of 67 tent and trailer sites, two bathhouses with modern facilities, and a centrally located playground. There are coin-operated washing machines and dryers. A dumping station is located nearby. The campsites at Audra do not have hookups.
Audra State Park campground closes mid-October and reopens mid-April.
