Open from April through October, our 8-acre campground is located right on the banks of the Greenbrier River with tree-lined RV sites and wooded riverside tent camping. Established in 1989, we take special pride in the slogan “First on the River.” Our campers have access to a thousand feet of riverfront owned by the campground for great fishing and one of the best swimming holes on the river. We also offer full-service tubing, kayak and canoe trips. We’re in the very heart of the best paddling waters on the Greenbrier. There’s Class I thru Class III action, all within our immediate area and for all levels of paddling skill.
Directions
From I-64 take exit 161, Alderson/Alta, follow to Route 12 south and continue 10 miles to the town of Alderson. As you enter Alderson, turn left on Route 63 east and travel approximately 4 miles, the campground entrance is located on the right – watch for signs.
