About: Buckboard Crossing Campground is located in a high desert landscape with sagebrush and a few scattered trees on the shores of Flaming Gorge Reservoir at an elevation of 6,100 feet. Typical weather ranges from warm days to cool nights. Fishing, boating, canoeing, waterskiing, and swimming are popular activities on the lake. There is a marina, gas/propane, convenience store and RV dump are located onsite.
