About: Perennially popular with ATV riders, the Big Scrub Campground is in the heart of the Big Scrub in the south central portion of the Ocala National Forest.

A trailhead provides riders campsite-to-trail access for the Ocala Adventure Trail.

Directions: From Weirsdale, drive east on SR 42 for 7.4 miles. At the blinker, turn left onto SE 182nd Avenue Rd. Drive 4.1 miles to FR 73, on the right. FR 73 is an unimproved road, sometimes deep in soft sand in spots. After approx. 3 miles, the campground is on the left at a crossroad. It can also be accessed from SR 40 by driving south from Mill Dam on Pipeline Road, a signed but unimproved road, for approximately 6 miles.
