About: This USFS campground is part of the Hume Lake Ranger District, Sequoia National Forest. It is located approx. 80 miles NE of Fresno, adjacent to Kings Canyon National Park. Hume Lake is a short walk from the campground, offering swimming, trout fishing, boating and hiking. Normal season dates are 5/15 to 10/1. One mile to gas and store, firewood sold on-site.

Directions: From Fresno: Take Highway 180 east, to the Park Wye. Go left and continue on Highway 180, past Grant Grove for 12 1/4 miles. Turn right on Hume Road and continue for 3 miles to Y intersection. Take left road 1/2 mile to Hume Lake Campground entrance.
