About: Lake Hemet is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the San Jacinto Mountains. The scenery is breathtaking no matter which direction your gaze travels. Tall pines, manzanita trees, sage, and giant oaks abound. Remember to pack a camera and binoculars, and keep a watchful eye as the Eagles and their chicks are often seen soaring above and around the Campground. There will also be plenty of Red Hawks soaring overhead throughout the Forest and Campground.
