Maple View Campgrounds is a family owned and ran scenic camping facility, located in Kewaunee County. Among the 30 shaded acres is a man-made private lake, stocked with plenty of fish, over 100 campsites which includes group areas, primitive sites around the lake, cabins that sleep up to four, numerous seasonal sites and many other sites with plenty of shade or great views of the lake. Maple View also has a pavilion for group gatherings, a recently updated play ground area that includes a volleyball court, a basketball area & a separate area for a game of horseshoes and a huge centrally located sandbox that will occupy the kids for hours. There are also rentals available for pedal co-carts, paddleboats & other lake equipment.
Each year there are many events at Maple View Campgrounds. One of the biggest is the Christmas in July celebration. This event includes a contest for the best decorated site, activities for children, horse drawn wagon rides, a visit from Santa & a firework show. Other events include group gatherings such as Milk Can Diner, Chili Cook-off, Easter egg Hunt, Bingo, Penny Hunts for kids, the annual Pig Roast and Potluck dinners through-out the season.
