Directions:
From Los Angeles: Take Highway 15 South to Highway 76. East on Hwy 76 – 21 miles to South Grade Road (S-6) – left at South Grade Road – Campground is first driveway on the left. When you get onto Hwy 76, you will pass the Pala Indian Casino, then you will go through Pauma Valley (past the first Jilberto’s Taco Shop). As you come out of Pauma Valley, Hwy 76 curves around to the left. You’ll see a sign that says Palomar Mountain 14 miles. Stay on Hwy 76. There is a market called the Stage Stop and the second Jilberto’s Taco Shop on the left. Go another 5 miles until you come to a large green highway sign that says Palomar Mountain and Lake Henshaw. Below that sign there is a smaller brown sign that says Oak Knoll Campground. Go left at the fork just past those signs. We’re the first driveway on the left.

From San Diego: Take Highway 15 North to the Via Rancho Parkway exit. Turn right at the top of the off ramp. This turns into Bear Valley Parkway. Stay on this road until it comes to a T-crossing. This is East Valley Parkway. Turn right. Stay on this road through Valley Center and through the Rincon Indian Reservation until this road comes to a T-crossing. This is Highway 76 (S-6). Turn right and go another 5 miles until you come to a large green highway sign that says Palomar Mountain and Lake Henshaw. Below that sign there is a smaller brown sign that says Oak Knoll Campground. Go left at the fork just past those signs. We’re the first driveway on the left.
