About: Oconee Point Campground is located on the northern end of Hartwell Lake and is close to Clemson, South Carolina. Spanning parts of South Carolina and Georgia, Hartwell Lake is one of the largest and most visited public recreation lakes in the Southeast. It comprises nearly 56,000 acres of water and has a shoreline of 962 miles. The lake and surrounding land are popular for camping, fishing, swimming, boating, water skiing, picnicking and more.

Directions: From Interstate 85 in South Carolina, take exit 11 onto State Highway 24 towards Townville. About 1.5 miles past Townville, turn right onto Coneross Creek Road. Proceed 2.5 miles and turn left (south) onto South Friendship Road. Drive three miles to the park entrance.
