About: Lakeview is a large campground situated in lodgepole pine and sage habitat at an elevation of 9,500 feet overlooking Twin Lakes Reservoir. Facilities include vault restrooms, potable water, picnic tables, lantern hooks, fire rings, and pedestal grills.

Lakeview Campground has three loops that are reservable as group campsites (Loops D, E and F), some of which have incredible views of Twin Lakes Reservoir. Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings, pedestal grills, potable water, and vault toilets. Loops G and H are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not reservable.

Directions: From Leadville, travel 15 miles south on US Hwy 24; turn RIGHT on Highway 82 and travel 4 miles to Lake County Road 24. Turn RIGHT on Lake County Road 24 at the campground sign; travel 1 mile north to the campground, which is on the left side of the road.
