In addition to being a major destination for cultural visitors, the Berkshires provide a beautiful country setting for fishing (lake and stream), boating, hiking, biking, golfing (10 nearby courses), skiing and snowboarding, hunting, antiqueing and so much more. Two outlet centers – Lee, MA and Manchester, VT – are within an hour for shopping fans.Brodie is only three hours from Boston or NYC, and 45 minutes from Albany,NY and Springfield, MA. Jiminy Peak, with its alpine slide, scenic rides, mini golf, trap shooting and more family fun, is only 3 miles away.
