About: Golden Memorial State Park memorializes post civil War with a one-room school once located on the site. The Park provides picnic tables, grills, 2 picnic pavilions, nature trails, 15-acre spring-fed lake stocked with bass and bream. The Loblolly Trail features the second largest loblolly pine tree in the state of Mississippi.
Eight new campsites are available for RV camping. Four of these campsites feature a patio deck with a lakefront view. All eight of these campsites are available for rental at the park and include water and electricity. A dumping station is located in the park. Bathhouses with hot water and restrooms are located in the camping area. Six tent decks are available with water for tent camping. Electricity is also available for use if the camper provides a 100′-200′ extension cord.
Picnic sites complete with grills are located throughout the park and many have affording lakeside views. Two covered pavilions may be reserved for a fee, providing the ideal spot for family reunions, company picnics, and school or church outings.

A 15-acre spring-fed lake stocked with bass and bream is available for visitors to fish at Golden Memorial State Park. A Mississippi Fishing License is required for all people between the ages of 16 and 65. Licenses may be purchased at the park office for a nominal fee. There is no swimming allowed in the lake.
