About: The campsites at Togo Horse Campground are considered “primitive,” designed to furnish only the basic needs of the camper. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. In addition, vault toilets, garbage dumpsters, and water are available. Water may be pumped by hand or by hooking your own generator (2500 watt minimum) to the well.
All sites are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Horse campground:Togo Horse campground offers pull-through campsites, picket lines at each campsite, manure bunkers, an accessible loading ramp, and a lot of open spaces. You can use portable corrals or electric fence as long as they do not encircle trees.
There is also a day-use area available. Facilities include: parking lot with a vault toilet, picket lines, a manure disposal, picnic tables and fire rings.
There are 19 miles of signed multi-use trails with more trails available to explore.
Directions: From Nashwauk, take State Hwy. 65(N) 27mi. to Co.Rd. 551; turn left(W) 5 mi; campground entrance is on the right.
