Reservations not being accepted August 1 – August 28, 2010: Black Canyon National Park will be undergoing a road chip seal project on roads, campgrounds and individual campsites during the 2010 summer season. Reservations will not be accepted for any sites from August 1st – August 28th. The South Rim Campground will remain open but sites will only be available on a first come/first serve basis. Campers should expect a 2-3 day closure on specific loops within the campground as this work progresses. We anticipate completion of this project before the Labor Day weekend and opening reserveable sites for reservations, but we cannot comfirm project completion dates at this time.
