Camp under enormous redwoods and watch Roosevelt elk and black-tailed deer graze in Elk Prairie, which provides easy access to over 70 miles of hiking and biking trails and seasonal junior ranger and campfire programs.
Location: Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, 6 miles north of Orick, Calif. on the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway.
