This area is a favorite for the campers who like to fly fish or for the camper who just wants to relax with a book. This campground is located next to the Metolius River.
All of the Metolius campgrounds are serene. Their physical beauty is not as wondrous as their counterparts at the top of the Cascades, but campers like to come here to avoid the more plentiful rainfall of the west side of the mountains. Allingham is the second campground after Camp Sherman.
